About Lyndon Delano Moss: Don’s Song
This is the story behind Lyndon Delano Moss: Don’s Song. Lyndon Delano Moss, the composer of Don’s Song, is a born-again believer in Jesus Christ.
He is also an accomplished guitarist. He began playing the guitar when he was around age twelve. Through the years, Lyndon honed his guitar playing skills through self-taught music theory.
Lyndon served the Lord with his guitar playing in his local church. He has played to audiences at home, in the Caribbean and internationally.
An ardent student of the Word of God, Lyndon’s fingers are either glued to his guitar or to the Bible.
How Don’s Song by Lyndon Delano Moss came into the earth
Don’s Song by Lyndon Delano Moss was written as he taught his son Don-Austyn Moss in 2002.
The story behind the song is fascinating, because Lyndon, seeing with prophetic intuition, knew that he could put his musical knowledge to work.
Therefore, he counted out a four-four beat as Don struggled to keep his two feet on the ground.
According to his own testimony, as he tapped out the four-four beat, Lyndon heard the melody of this song from heaven. This is the song that became Don’s Song.
How Lyndon Delano Moss’ Don’s Song is a blessing in the earth
Don’s Song is a prophetic song that changes the atmosphere. My personal experience is feeling a lift in the spirit and a sense of jubilation, skipping along and relief.
In April 2021, I played this melody during the volcanic eruption in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. While playing the song one day, I looked outside and observed that the dark clouds instantly lifted. At the same time, the sun began to shine very brightly.
Don’s Song was also observed to calm a hungry, irate one-year-old child.

Scientists have discovered that strong music pulsations help people to walk
Over the past years, scientists have discovered that walking to the sound of strong music beats has a positive impact on walking, gait, and balance.
Researchers like Dr. Jessica Grahn lead the way in the science is Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation. They are also helping people with movement disorders to walk to the sound of music.
Officially, rhythmic auditory stimulation is defined as:
the process of using music with rhythm and tempo enhancement (i.e. increasing bass and tempo) to entrain the body for movement. The rhythm and tempo of music prime the central nervous system (CNS) and prepare the body for movement, such as walking (Science Direct, 2020).
Rhythmic auditory stimulation increases 6-Minute walk distance in individuals with COPD
Researchers recently studied the impact of music beats on people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The purpose of the study was to assess if persons with COPD would increase walking distance to 6-minutes while listening to rhythmically enhanced music (Hernandez et al, 2020).
Since people living with COPD are less active, the researchers theorized that Walking with rhythmically enhanced music would help participant to walk further and to relieve symptoms of breathing difficulty.
Participants were twenty-five men aged 70.7 to about 75 years. They had a diagnosis of moderate to severe COPD. The men completed three six minute walk tests in random order.
The men walked with musical accompaniment that was rhythmically enhanced. They also walked without music. The researchers also measured walking distance and perceived breathing difficulty.
Participant’s walked 12 minutes further when listening to rhythmically enhanced music when compared to walking without music. The onset of breathing difficulties was not different between the three walking conditions.
The researchers concluded that rhythmically-enhanced music may be a useful tool to increase walking distance in individuals living with COPD.
We thank God for a Prophet Musician who heard a melody from heaven as he implemented his knowledge that music impacted movement.
This stemmed from Biblical knowledge that God commanded Israel to worship in dance. Music in the church is accompanied by dance. This in turn has many positive effects on the human structure.
Continuing research into the field of Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation is unearthing more fascinating information. God created music for this purpose. We do well as humans when we listen to music, dance and praise God to its melody.
