Enoch’s Admonition to his Children.
Book of Enoch Chapter 91
Enoch asks Methuselah to assemble his children
1. ‘And now, my son Methuselah, call to me all thy brothers
And gather together to me all the sons of thy mother;
For the word calls me,
And the spirit is poured out upon me,
That I may show you everything
That shall befall you for ever.’
Enoch’s admonition to his children to live righteously.
2 And there upon Methuselah went and summoned to him all his brothers and assembled his relatives.
3 And he spake unto all the children of righteousness and said:
‘Hear, ye sons of Enoch, all the words of your father,
And hearken aright to the voice of my mouth;
For I exhort you and say unto you, beloved:
Love uprightness and walk therein.
4. And draw not nigh to uprightness with a double heart,
And associate not with those of a double heart,
But walk in righteousness, my sons.
And it shall guide you on good paths,
And righteousness shall be your companion.
Enoch’s admonition to his children regarding the increase of unrighteousness in the earth.
5. For I know that violence must increase on the earth,
And a great chastisement be executed on the earth,
And all unrighteousness come to an end:
Yea, it shall be cut off from its roots,
And its whole structure be destroyed.
6. And unrighteousness shall again be consummated on the earth,
And all the deeds of unrighteousness and of violence
And transgression shall prevail in a twofold degree.
Enoch’s admonition to his children regarding the judgment of sinners.
7. And when sin and unrighteousness and blasphemy
And violence in all kinds of deeds increase,
And apostasy and transgression and uncleanness increase,
A great chastisement shall come from heaven upon all these,
And the holy Lord will come forth with wrath and chastisement
To execute judgement on earth.
8. In those days violence shall be cut off from its roots,
And the roots of unrighteousness together with deceit,
And they shall be destroyed from under heaven.
9. And all the idols of the heathen shall be abandoned,
And the temples burned with fire,
And they shall remove them from the whole earth,
And they (i.e. the heathen) shall be cast into the judgement of fire,
And shall perish in wrath and in grievous judgement for ever.
Enoch’s admonition to his children regarding the resurrection of the righteous.
10. And the righteous shall arise from their sleep,
And wisdom shall arise and be given unto them.
Enoch’s admonition to his children regarding the paths of righteousness and the paths of violence.
11. And after that the roots of unrighteousness shall be cut off, and the sinners shall be destroyed by the sword
. . . shall be cut off from the blasphemers in every place, and those who plan violence and those who commit blasphemy shall perish by the sword.
18. And now I tell you, my sons, and show you
The paths of righteousness and the paths of violence.
Yea, I will show them to you again
That ye may know what will come to pass.
19. And now, hearken unto me, my sons,
And walk in the paths of righteousness,
And walk not in the paths of violence;
For all who walk in the paths of unrighteousness shall perish for ever.’
People born into the lineage of Seth were righteous people
Enoch came from the line of Seth, who was a righteous man. The firstborn sons were prophets. Apostle Jude referred to Enoch the Apostle as the “seventh from Adam.”
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints.
After Cain sinned, God removed him from the blessing of the firstborn by exiling him from the family home. He wandered and remained a sinner. This is why he is described as being black in the Book of Enoch Chapter 85.
However, when Seth was born, he walked in the ways of God as taught by his father Adam. He also taught his children the ways of righteousness and men began to call on the name of the Lord, according to Genesis 4: 26
All of the descendants of Seth’s line were righteous, or white people, as shown to Enoch in the second dream vision.
This tells us that it was the lineage of Cain that had intermarried with the fallen angels.
Adam, Cain and Abel were color-coded in the Book of Enoch Chapter 85 according to the condition of their spirits
Enoch reported a dream vision in which Adam was white, Cain was black and Abel red. We are tempted initially to believe, as I did, that he was referring to skin color.
However, I came to realize by the revelation that these colors referred to the condition of their spirits where:
– black = sinner – like Cain.
– white – righteous – like Adam.
– red – hot-tempered – like Abel.
Further revelations in the Book of Enoch confirmed that the color black refers to degenerate people or sinners. This is in the dream vision in which the fallen angels intermingled with and married the black oxen.
This is a direct reference to the line of Cain. The line of Seth was not involved in this madness.

White in the Bible refers to righteousness
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone …
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
